- Where can I find the school policies?
Please click here to view the school policies.

- Why doesn’t InTech have any sports teams?
The primary focus of our school is academic, although we do provide a variety of extracurricular activities and clubs for students to participate in. Students can also be involved in other schools' extracurricular activities.

- What kind of clubs and extracurricular activities does InTech have?
Please see our Clubs page.

- What is SIS?
SIS stands for “Student Information Systems.”  It is a program developed by the state in part to facilitate communication between schools and parents.  It contains information about students such as grades and attendance.

- How do I check my student’s grades online?
Stop by the main office from 8-4 to get a username and password that will allow you to login to SIS.  Due to FERPA laws, this information can only be given out to the students’ parents in person (not to the student, and not over the phone).  Once you have a username and password, you may access SIS from our website or at https://intech.usoe-dcs.org.

- What are the requirements for graduation?
Please see our Graduation Requirements page.

- How do students sign up for classes through the Electronic High School?
Students can sign up for the Electronic High School by visiting ehs.uen.org, and obtaining a username and password.  Students should be careful not to take any of the required classes that are offered at InTech.

- I’ve heard kids graduate with two years of college. How?
Students have the opportunity to earn 2 years of college credit by taking concurrent enrollment classes offered at the school and by taking classes at USU. These classes give students credit for both college and high school.  Students must be a Junior or Senior and have a 3.0 when they sign of for these classes.

-How do student's take driver's education?
Students can take driver's ed through a private driver's education program or through Sky View High School's afterschool driver's education program for a cost of $100.00.

- I would like to come and present to your students.  Who do I contact?
We would love more guest speakers!  Please contact Mrs. JaDean Frehner in the main office to set up a time to present.

- How does lunch work?
School lunch is provided by Sky View's Cafeteria. They need to know a month in advance what the students will be eating and have the money for those lunches. Each lunch will be $3.00. The price for reduced lunch is $0.40. Students need to bring sack lunches if they are not eating school lunch. If you have any questions about lunch or if you would like a free and reduced lunch application, contact JaDean Frehner by phone at 753-7377 or via email at JFrehner@intechchs.org. Click here to see the lunch menu.

- What steps do I take if I suspect that my student has a disability?
Contact Connie Morgan at (435)753-7377 or

- I want to help the school—What can I do?
Volunteers (especially parents!) can have such a positive impact, especially in small schools like InTech where so much is already being required of the staff.  InTech strives to provide many extracurricular opportunities for students in addition to the rigorous class work, but we need your help!  InTech could really benefit from volunteers in the following areas:

Clubs - We have tried to create a lot of different clubs so that all students have an opportunity to participate with their peers in fun activities that interest them.  Some of our teachers advise clubs on top of teaching full-time, but we really need parents to help us out!  If you would like to advise a club, please contact our main office.

Student Activities - InTech has had a lot of support from parents who have helped out with dances, movie nights, barbecues, etc.  If you are looking for a fun opportunity to help out, please contact Ms. Melissa Seidle.

PTO - The PTO supports teachers, students, and other parents through helping out with student activities, organizing incentive programs (prizes!) for positive student behavior, and offering a forum for parents to voice their concerns and work together to make InTech the very best.  Last year they even provided lunch for the teachers during conferences!  (InTech teachers hope it becomes a tradition!)  If you would like more information about the PTO, please contact Megan Jerez at 755-6947.

Substituting - Parents who sub for teachers are paid $55 for a full day.  InTech just requires that subs have a background check performed.  Contact Mrs. JaDean Frehner in the main office for the paperwork and to add your name to the substitute list.
